The YoungDelft board is a team of enthusiastic volunteers, reflecting the variety of TU Delft employees. The board meets regularly to develop and coordinate upcoming activities, discuss short-term plans regarding events, communication, finances and long-term perspectives aimed at creating an enjoyable and pleasant working atmosphere at TU Delft.

Claire Visée
Claire is a Career Councillor at the TU Delft Career and counselling services. As an alumni of the TU and now one of the employees she has seen quite a bit of the TU since 2004. In her free time she travels a lot. However she is always eager to build new networks at the TU Delft and open for suggestions. If you have any ideas to connect all employees under 36, reach out to her.

Anne van der Poel
Anne is a subsidy advisor to TU Delft Valorization Centre. She finished her Bachelor and Master in Neuroscience at the University of Amsterdam and a further Master Science Communication at the Free University in Amsterdam. She followed an internship at the Cape Town Science Centre as an education developer where she fell in love with South Africa. After two years of work experience there she moved back to Delft where she started as an communication advisor for Big Data and Blockchain.

Christian Slieker
Christian started working as a Study Programme Officer for 3mE at Education and Student Affairs this April. He studied history at Leiden University and NUI Galway. In his spare time he likes to run, enjoys reading books, plays guitar and collects vinyl records.

Manas Mandalahalli
Manas started his PhD in Chemical Engineering in November 2015 after completing his master in University of Twente, Enschede. He works on multiphase flows and its applications in industrial (bio)chemical reactors. In his free time, he enjoys reading, cooking and an occasional travel.

Maedeh Molaei
Event Management Team
Maedeh obtained her Master’s degree in Construction Management and Engineering from TU Delft. In 2016, she started her PhD in project management. Her research deals with identifying context-specific factors contributing to project success. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, reading books and playing piano.

Rishabh Ghotge
Event Manager

Rishabh Ghotge is a researcher in the 3mE department, working on the application of solar energy for electric mobility. He moved to Delft after living in various parts of western Europe and likes University life. He enjoys playing tennis, reading and trying new foods and tries to spread sunshine and joy through YoungDelft events.

Alessandro Urso
Event Management team

Alessandro is a PhD candidate at the Section Bioelectronics of TU Delft. He is originally from Italy. He graduated (cum laude) in Electrical engineering at University of Ferrara. During his free time, he likes reading and planning travels abroad.

Anna Labetski
Event Management team
Vowing to remain a student forever, Anna started her PhD in 3D city modelling in 2016 and quickly fell in love with the Netherlands. Despite a lack of mountains to hike she managed to find other hobbies including cycling, fencing and coming up with terrible jokes.

Hamid Gilvari
Event Management team
After finishing his master’s studies in Finland, Hamid Gilvari started his PhD on transportation and storage of biomass pellets at the 3mE faculty on Jan 2017. He loves cooking, traveling, book reading, and of course, managing social event.
